Pine Barrens, New Jersey. This quaint region is plagued by a series of bizarre, ritualistic killings. To add to the confusion, bodies of known members of the Necrum cult begin to turn up as well. Rumors spread across the region about a mythical creature called the Jersey Devil (JD), who is responsible for the killings. Officer Shields, a Pine Barrens police chief and former Texas Ranger, doesn’t know what to make of it. Two FBI agents roll into town on case assignment. Shields is subsequently suspended from the case when it is uncovered that he was romantically linked to one of the murder victims. While on suspension, Shields sees JD, and it is beyond anything he could have imagined. The Jersey Devil is half woman, half beast, and hundreds of years old. She was put on this earth to prevent sacrifice in the Pine Barrens. The town of Pine Barrens stands on sacred grounds. After the blood of eight innocent people is spilled on Pine Barrens soil, the ritual will be complete to possess the last heir of Christ and begin the Armageddon. Two other places on earth were under the care of cursed beings, both beings have failed. Now the Jersey Devil is the last line of defense against the coming evil. J.D. fails just as Officer Shields discovers her. Shields and J.D. unite and take off in a search of the Anti-Christ before he can complete Armageddon. Along the way, Shields and J.D. enlist the help of the other protectors, Moth Man from Pennsylvania, and a team of creatures from the New Orleans area called The Big Red Eyes. The armies meet in Death Valley, California, only to see the final steps of the ritual completed. Shields and his team are outmatched and go out in a blaze of glory reminiscent of the Alamo.

UNDEAD JESUS is the keystone book in the New Boy Comix series. Set against an apocalyptic backdrop, UNDEAD JESUS tells the story of Jove, the last living blood relative of Christ. In a horrific turn of events, Jove is possessed by the devil and rises to power as the Anti-Christ. Jove’s pregnant wife, Triana, sets out with a band of survivors to find safety in a desolate outpost in the American southwest. Triana and her group are forced to navigate their way around boiling seas and battle scores of walking dead. When Judgment Day comes, Triana and her group make a final, brave stand. In the aftermath of the Judgment Day battle, Jove makes his own pilgrimage with Necrum, the very satanic cult that induced his possession. But our God is not a benevolent one. God has seen the changes on Earth. In an effort to stop the impending Armageddon, God takes desperate action and forces Satan out of Jove’s body. The devil anticipated God would do this, and marked Jove with the sign of the beast. As a result, God becomes trapped on earth in a human form (the body of Jove). He becomes mortal, and is plagued with all the vulnerabilities mortality implies. God must defend his mortal life because, as the comic states, “if God dies then all creation ends as well”. UNDEAD JESUS becomes a story of redemption. God must amend for leaving humanity in such a hopeless state, and at the same time he must grapple with the limits of his new found mortality. God also gains a new understanding as to what it means to be human. The story ends as Armageddon begins. Jove sets out into the wastelands to find Triana, and to salvage what he can of a humanity he helped to destroy….
